3.Structure characteristicsand working principle
The press is a traditionalstructure of friction screw press, its main feature is that the flywheel isdriven by the friction mechanism, Drive chain of the press consists of first-class beltdrive, disk friction drive and screwslide system.
Theworking principle: the main motor drives the driving shaft to turn roundthrough V-belt(which viewed from the left side of the press is clock wiserotation).The left and right friction disks installed on the driving shaftrotate together with the driving shaft .When entered air into the left
operatingcylinder , the left friction disk and the driving shaft turn to the right inorder to press against the flywheel at this time, the flywheel is driven torotate relying on the friction (which viewed from the upper side of the Pressis clock- wise rotation).The circular motion of the flywheel charges into thestraight motion of the slide through the screw mechanism. operating cylinder exhausts the friction disks andthe driving shaft return the middle position by the action of the compressedspring, the friction
disk is separate from the flywheel. After theslide contacts with the work-piece through the die, all energy that theflywheel and the slide accumulate in the motion release, the inertia moment ofthe flywheel change into the forging force through the screw mechanism, theslide forges the work-piece. After finished forging and theright operating cylinder enters into air, the right friction disk and the drivingshaft turn to the left in order to press against the flywheel, the flywheelrotates in reverse and the slide returns. When the slide moves upward to thepredefined position, the left operating cylinder exhausts and the friction diskreturns the middle position, now, the slide is in the brake stroke, the brakeplate brakes the flange of the flywheel by the action of the spring force, theslide stops on the stipulated upper limit position, right now, a working cycleof the press is over.
